KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reported that drivers in the Bell County area will have to get prepared for more road work in the area starting Monday morning.

The Texas Department of Transportation will begin work on a portion of State Highway 95 starting Monday morning in Bell County.

Motorists on the road should expect for lane closures and delays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the area. The project taking place is designed to bring more safety along a 5-mile stretch of the road, and make culvert ends safer.

The work will take place from Loop 363 southeast of Temple to FM 436 located in Little River Academy. The project taking place is worth $3.5 million, and is expected to be completed sometime in the fall of this year.
