It may be hard to believe, but a South Korean Business is set to build a brand new plant in the area. According to the Killeen Daily Herald, the plant will be located in the Killeen Business Park. Dongjin Semichen plans to take up 31 acres for the new plant.
The South Korean Company produces, according to the CEO of the Killeen Economic Development Corporation Scott Connell, chemicals for the semiconductor industry. The plant also promises to create 17 new full-time jobs for Killeen. But the thought of a new plant coming to Central Texas may have some individuals understandably worried.
