There’s a new waterpark coming to Texas, and by the looks of the pictures, it seems like it’s going to be pretty awesome!

Yes We Do Need Another Texas Water Park

Less than two years after the world's largest indoor water park in Texas opened in Round Rock, the Houston Chronicle reports that another indoor waterpark company is making its way to the Houston area.

Reportedly, the property will feature 400,000 ft.² of entertainment and lodging space, and similar to Kalahari's resort in Round Rock, this one will have space for a convention center, hot tubs you can enjoy in the winter, along with tons of water slides and rides.

Their Wish Came True

The Great Wolf Lodge company opened a location in Grapvevine 15 years ago, and has been looking to bring a waterpark to southeast Texas. Now they have reached their goal!

Great Wolf Lodge Vice President of Corporate Communications Jason Lasecki told the Houston Chronicle:

"We’re always looking for opportunities to introduce the Great Wolf Lodge resort experience to new audiences, and we are excited about the prospect of bringing one of our family-friendly indoor water park resorts to southeastern Texas.

The water park will be open later this year. Make this an option for you and your family, then you can compare this new one with the one in Grapevine. Here's how that one looks:
