Our friends at Operation Phantom Support are offering a $6 fajita lunch Thursday, May 2 to benefit the Infinite Possibilities (IP) program for local young adults with special needs.

For just six bucks, you can chow down on steak fajitas with beans and rice. If you're munching on the go, you can text ahead for a quick to-go meal at (254) 290-7064. They'll be serving meals from 10:30 AM to 2 PM.

All proceeds from the lunch will go to support IP's mission to provide job training for members of our community with special needs. The program focuses on enhancing the quality of life and skills of these job seekers - something I think we can all get behind.

Operation Phantom Support is a local non-profit serving active duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families with a variety of programs, including food assistance, legal counseling, and a thrift store.

They're located at 401 N 8th St. in Killeen. Stop by Thursday for some good food for a good cause, and visit their website to see all the work they're doing to help and honor those who serve and have served.

Last holiday season, we were blessed to be able to team up with OPS for their Christmas toy drive. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to fill their showroom with toys that went to local military families in need. We look forward to doing it again!
