The new "Scan and Go" app available at select Sam's Club stores has just arrived in Texas.

With "Scan and Go" shoppers can scan items as they shop and avoid the check out line when they're finished. The new technology was tested this summer, and Sam's Club (owned by Wal-mart) has decided to expand the service to all 645 of it's U.S. stores.

Customers who download the app for Android or Apple phones can then store their payment information on the app, and then scan and shop on the free wifi provided at all Sam's Club locations. Items like gift cards, tobacco, and alcohol will still need to be purchased at the checkout lines.

Sam's Club says 80% of customers who tried the service used it again within 90 days. It's a chance to make shopping a little faster and easier for busy families.
