One Texas Grandfather was asked to leave the "Holiday In The Park" event at Six Flags Over Texas because he looked too much like Santa Claus.

Jerry Henderson of north Texas was celebrating his granddaughters birthday when he says he was suddenly surrounded by 5 security guards and asked to leave. Henderson told NBC 5 in Dallas that the security guards said he looked too much like Santa Claus, and that he would need to "go home and shave my beard and then I would be welcomed back into the park."

Henderson said his beard has made him a year-round Santa look-a-like since 1997, and that families often stop him to pose in photos with their kids. Six Flags Over Texas said this was in fact the source of the problem.

Six Flags Over Texas spokeswoman Sharon Parker said, "We cannot knowingly allow individuals who are not approved by the park to interact with small children in this capacity." The park also has a no costume policy during "Holiday In The Park". The holiday events continue at Six Flags Over Texas until January 2nd, 2017.
