Thanksgiving is around the corner and it's important to note which stores will be closed for the holiday.

Can you believe the holiday is three days away? I know I can't. Time is flying and if you're anything like me then you're rushing to grab all of the items on your grocery list. It seems like every year I need something the day of Thanksgiving but this year it may be difficult to get those last-minute items.

Last year started a shift in how some big retailers operated during the holiday season. Due to the pandemic, many stores allowed their employees to enjoy Thanksgiving off while some retailers such as Target and Walmart had their employees working. Well, moving forward this year it seems like many companies are closing up shop.

Check out a list of stores that will be closed this Thursday below:
Target
Costco
Sam's Club
Walmart
Best Buy
Petco
Petsmart
Trader Joes
Dick's Sporting Goods
Kohl's
All Phone Stores
Bed Bath & Beyond

While these stores may be closed on Thanksgiving they will re-open on Nov 26th for Black Friday shoppers. Hopefully, this is a new practice that all retailers will participate in.

Check out the list of stores that will be open on Thanksgiving below:
Family Dollar
CVS
Big Lots
H-E-B
Five Below
Starbucks
Dollar General
Walgreens

Stores that are open on Thanksgiving might have altered hours so be sure to check their websites for more information.

I am all for employees having a day off especially to spend time with their family. So big ups to all of the retailers who are shutting down for the holiday.
