Southbount I-35 Moving at Snail’s Pace After Truck Crash

Southbound traffic along I-35 was moving at a crawl Monday morning after a truck caught fire near the Nugent Avenue overpass.

TxDOT's Jodi Wheatley said an 18-wheeler "crashed and burned" shortly before 7 AM Monday. By 11 AM the scene had been cleared, but traffic was still moving very slowly through the area Travelers are advised to find a way around if possible or prepare for delays.
