Texas Fun, No Wallet Required: A Tour of the State's Best Free Attractions

You now need a Real ID to do several things including travel by air. You aren't totally hosed if you haven't gotten one yet though, there are ways to get around this. Several other documents will work if you don't yet have the new "Real ID".

Chisos Basin is a beautiful area, located within Big Bend State Park, about 326 miles from El Paso. It will soon be closed off to the public so make your plans and reservations ASAP.

Those funny "only at Walmart" photos of people wearing some ... "odd", shall we say ... clothing are hilarious. Wardrobe malfunctions don't just happen at Wally - world though. I've seen some whacky stuff on planes too and some major airlines have had enough.

Today, visitors to Old Mesilla wander the sleepy little village, relax at the Plaza, visit the 173 year old San Albino church and relax. Some enjoy the amazing food at La Posta or sip a drink at El Patio, both located in buildings that go back to the 1800's. Pretty much everybody wants a souvenir though and the Billy The Kid gift shop has plenty.

Not all areas of hotel rooms are cleaned.

Texas no longer allows the use of Bluetooth speakers in its national parks. It's not just Texas either, the National Park Service has instated this ban in ALL of America's national parks across the board.
