Temple Police Chief Finalists Announced
The Temple Police Department has almost completed its search for a new Chief of Police, and the public is invited to meet the three finalists at a public reception.
The event will be held Thursday, March 26 at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

The nationwide search for a new chief was conducted with assistance from Strategic Government Resources. According to the City of Temple, 56 candidates from 22 states applied, including 23 from Texas. The vetting process included a comprehensive questionnaire, online interviews, a psychometric assessment, a thorough media search, and a rigorous background investigation.
