People outside America must believe that the Donald will not be the next President, because foreigners have bought up $10 billion in Texas homes in the last year.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that foreign buyers picked up $10 billion in Texas homes during the year ending in March.

Leslie Rouda Smith, chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors said..."Over the last

Texas is now home to the second-largest foreign-born population in the nation

several years, Texas has become increasingly popular among international home-buyers from all parts of the globe for relocation's, investment properties and vacation homes. In addition to our state's strong economy and job growth, Texas' friendly and welcoming culture is part of what make our state a great place to live, work and do business."

It seems that almost 21,500 homes were purchased by foreign buyers this past year. That's up 2% from the year before. And here's the rub. Most of the buyers hailed from Latin America and Asia. Yes, Texas has the most Mexican home-buyers with 35% of the U.S. total. So they're might me a lot of empty houses if Donald Trump becomes President. But, again, they don't seem to be too worried. In fact, it seems that Texas is now home to the second-largest foreign-born population in the nation.
