Many brilliant young minds will be taking their talents to Texas State Technical College, according to a press release from the school.

TSTC is hosting the Central Texas Science and Enginering Fair on Tuesday, February 20th and Wednesday, February 21st.

There will be a combination of 100 students from middle schools and high schools at the fair. Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan, Milam, Navarro and Robertson counties are all participating in the event.

The top three winners of each category can advance to the Texas Science and Engineering Fair in March. The statewide science fair will take place in San Antonio.

The top two qualifiers among high school students will be eligible for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in May. The International science fair will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For more information on the science fair, click the link here.
