The 8th Annual Killeen Girl Scout Showcase Happens August 31st.

If your daughter is interested in learning more about being a Girl Scout, then you'll have an opportunity to learn more about the great work these young ladies are doing next week in Killeen.

The 8th annual Killeen Girl Scout Showcase happens Saturday August 31st at the Killeen Service Center located at 2909 Lake Road from 9:00 AM until Noon.

You do know that Girl Scouts are much more than selling "cookies" and "camping" right? This annual "Open House" is open to girls in grades K-12 and it gives them an opportunity to learn about EVERYTHING the Girl Scouts of Central Texas has to offer that will help your young lady build important life skills, seek out new challenges and become leaders in their community.

There will be lots of activities so drop your daughter off or stop in and participate yourself in this free, fun event.
