Threat Made On A Local Middle School
Since the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida law enforcement all over the country has been on heightened alert to any threats made towards school shootings.
KWTX's Kathleen Serie and Matthew Ablon reported that Copperas Cove Police Department sent a few officers to a local Jr. High on Wednesday morning. The officers were responding to a non-specific threat that was made on SC Lee Junior High School in Copperas Cove.
The threat wasn't deemed as threatening, but the necessary precautions were taken and officers were on the campus and the surrounding area.
