Train Whistle Jamboree

The Train Whistle Jamboree began in 2013, stopping only twice, including once during the height of the pandemic. Usually the event has an average attendance of 600 to 700 people, but Nolanville Community Outreach Coordinator Jennifer Shidler says she expects this year’s Jamboree to have around 1,000 people, according to the Killeen Daily Herald. 15 community vendors, including 7 food trucks, will be at the event. Live music, family games, bounce houses, petting zoos, and face painting will also be available along with many other offerings.

The Train Whistle Jamboree is a free event and includes parkinga at no charge for the community. Space for parking will be available on the grassy area between Avenue G and the railroad in Nolanville.
