Two Vehicle Crash Leaves One On Its Side

A two vehicle crash left an SUV on its side in Waco Wednesday morning.

KWTX reports that two SUVs collided at the intersection of 18th Street and Austin Avenue after one of the drivers ran a red light.

The drivers sustained very minor injuries and were able to walk away.

"This is why police have to enforce traffic laws - because people aren't paying attention and run red lights," Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton said.

Given the magnitude of the crash, Swanton said both drivers very lucky to have walked away uninjured.
