Victims of Killeen Dollar General Murder-Suicide Identified
Police have released the names of two people who died Sunday in a murder-suicide at a Killeen Dollar General.
22-year-old Erica Denise Townsend-Whitfield of Killeen, an employee of the store at 4102 Watercrest Road, was gunned down by her estranged husband, 23-year-old Angelo Myshun Townsend-Whitfield of Chicago, Illinois.
According to police, Angelo Townsend-Whitfield was an active duty Marine stationed in California.
No other injuries were reported. Police have not said what may have motivated the shooting.
