Waco EMTs Stop to Help 98 Year-Old Woman Mow Her Lawn
An ambulance crew from East Texas Medical Center spotted 98-year-old Margaret Durham attempting to mow her lawn on Windsor Avenue in Waco.
Our news partners at KWTX report the team of EMTs noticed Margaret was showing signs of being overheated as they rode past, and they quickly turned around to offer assistance.
Margaret told the EMTs they were "angels from heaven" for stopping to help her. The ambulance crew noticed Margaret's lawn has a steep slope, and worried about her physical condition in the heat.
So many EMTs, police officers, fire fighters, and city workers give selflessly to help out their community, most often without recognition.
Townsquare Media thanks all our public servants for all the work they do in our times of need, and for all the times they help even when nobody seems to notice. Y'all are the heroes in our community. Thank you for caring so much about the people of Central Texas, and God bless!
