Waco’s 11th Annual Freedom Ball!

KWTX's Drake Lawson reported that the 11th Annual Freedom Ball took place this weekend in Waco.

The event was held Saturday at the Waco Convention Center. The Freedom Ball is held annually in an effort to honor the military community in the area.

The guests that attended had dinner, bid on auction items, and danced the night away at the event.

All of the money raised from the items auctioned off, goes to scholarships for students pursuing a career in Aviation Engineering.

Military veterans who have passed were honored; and every military official was given a Freedom Ball Medal upon entering the venue on Saturday.
