With the after effects of Harvey just beginning to show the storm's impact on the Central Texas area, the Killeen Daily Herald is reporting that Wal-Mart Neighborhood Markets and other gas stations are experiencing "spot outages" of unleaded fuel due to refineries in Southeast Texas being shut down in the wake of flooding.

Naturally, this has caused a high demand.

According to Ragan Dickens, Wal-Mart director of national media relations, Wal-Marts throughout Central Texas will continue to experience temporary shortages until fuel transportation reaches full capacity following the ebb of Hurricane Harvey, which has ravaged coastal communities. - Killeen Daily Herald

It's recommended that if you have the opportunity to get unleaded fuel, you "top off" due to these shortages.
