KWTX reported that a convenience store clerk had been wanted for his role in a gambling setup; after Waco Police Department raided the convenience store back on September 26th on search warrants.

The authorities had search warrants on the Mini-Mart store at 5301 Sanger Ave. for an undercover investigation that was being held for illegal gambling at the location.

The clerk wanted by Waco authorities was Javid Iqbal, 59. Waco Police Department Sargent W. Patrick Swanton said, "Iqbal is accused of paying cash money to a gambler at that location."

Iqbal turned himself into Waco authorities on Wednesday afternoon. Iqbal is presently in McLennan County Jail, and hasn't had a bond amount set at this present time.
