Woman Robbed at Local Skate Park

Authorities are searching for three individuals after they robbed a woman at a skate park in Waco.

According to our news partner KWTX, a woman was sitting at a table with friends and got knocked unconscious at the skate park located in the 1300 block of Barnard Street.

Police responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The woman told them  when she regained consciousness she noticed her backpack and money were gone. The woman was not identified, and she was sent to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center for a head laceration.

Three men are still at large. Waco Police spokesman W. Patrick Swanton said police are looking for three black men in their 40s to 50s and close to six feet tall. They were last seen in dark clothing. If you have any information, please call Waco Police Department at 254-750-7500.
