Temple Fire and Rescue responded to a fire Tuesday night at a location that’s been the scene of three other fires since early August.

Tuesday’s fire engulfed a detached garage apartment at 1313 N. 2nd St. The first crew arrived at 10:33 pm, and the scene was cleared by 1:33 am.

Firefighters were dispatched to the same scene on Saturday, August 2, Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9 of this year. The detached apartment and a vacant house at the scene both received heavy damage as a result of these fires.

According to Temple Fire and Rescue’s Public Information Office, the four fires remain the focus of an ongoing investigation by the Fire Marshall’s Office.
