Two shoplifters at a Katy HEB were busted by a group of vigilant Girl Scouts on Wednesday.

According to a report by Houston's Channel 2 News, the girls were selling cookies near the store’s entrance when they noticed a suspicious man pushing a cart full of loose items. They kept their eyes on the man and became convinced that he was up to no good, so they alerted an employee.

According to the store’s service director, the troop’s suspicions were correct. The man and an accomplice were attempting to make off with around $2000 worth of wine, appliances and groceries. The employee called the police, who soon arrested the pair of thieves.

Grateful employees bought $100 worth of cookies from the girls, and a photo of the troop now hangs in the store to showcase their good deed.
