10,000 Customers in the Dark After Waco Power Outage
A fire at an electronic substation is the cause of a widespread power outage today in the city of Waco.
A power outage has left some 10,000 customers in the dark today in Waco after a fire broke out at a substation at North 27th and Colonia Avenue.
KWTX is reporting that Oncor says it will take a couple of hours to restore power for its customers after the outages began to be reported about 4 PM this afternoon. The loss of power caused some people to be trapped in an elevator in an office at 801 Austin Avenue in Waco.
