The 14th Annual Austin, Texas Bat Festival happens on August, 18th! 

Check out 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats take flight from underneath the Congress Avenue bridge at dusk while checking out live music on 2 stages!

The festival comes complete with bat costumes, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and lots of other batty activities. It starts at 4pm on Saturday the 18th at 100 South Congress Avenue in the capital.

Best Adult and Child bat costumes score $100 bucks! The day is complete with a carnival and an essential beer tent near the 360 stage. Check out the entertainment line-up below!

Tickets for Bat Fest are available online or at the gate the day of the festival. Buy ahead of time and save some $. Get em for $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. It's a pretty sweet deal for 13 bands! Enjoy! If you go make sure you tag us in your photos on social media!
