Last Friday, 10-year-old Caden Walsh was walking home from school when the driver of a dark SUV hit him, then sped away.

Walsh, whose leg was severely injured, crawled a quarter of a mile home for help.

I can't imagine how it would feel as a parent to have my child struggling to crawl home to their front door for help. Walsh's parents describe their son's cries for help as 'bloodcurdling'.

ABC13.com reports you can still see the tire tracks on the grass from the SUV. The driver came from around the corner and came up onto the grass striking Walsh and driving away. Caden was taken to the hospital for stitches. Police are still searching for the vehicle that struck him. It is described as a dark-colored SUV.
