An infant was airlifted to a Temple hospital Monday after a crane and an SUV collided on an I-14 overpass.

Chelsea Edwards with our partners at News Channel 10 reports that the crash occurred Monday morning on the Edwards Drive Bridge. Investigators told Edwards the SUV pulled out in front of the crane.

Emergency responders performed CPR on the infant before the child was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. The baby's condition has not been made public.

Two adult occupants of the SUV were transported via ambulance to Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights.

Edwards reported that the 66-year-old driver of the crane was not injured.
