Bail Set At $10,000 For One Man After Standoff

Jonathan Preston Moore, 23, was charged with unlawful restraint and assault with bodily injury after a standoff with Killeen police department and their SWAT TEAM.

This unfortunate situation comes as the result of officers responding to a 911 call stating Moore had drug a victim back in the house, and yelled at her after she fell off of a roof. Witnesses said Moore was armed with a gun, and had also heard a woman screaming for help.

When officials arrived to Moore’s residence he stated he was not willing to leave the home. After a 2 ½ hours of negotiating he finally surrendered.

Moore is currently in Bell County Jail with bail set at $10,000.

Also arraigned Tuesday was Quinton Leon Boyd, 19, on a charge of tampering with physical evidence. Boyd’s bail was set at $20,000.
