It was another fantastic year at the Bell County Comic Con in Belton, Texas. The massive event that invades the Bell County Expo Center every first weekend in August is a gathering of the best and brightest in local cosplayers, and y'all did not disappoint in 2022.

Don't get us wrong: the celebrity guests, artists, venders, gaming stations, and panels are awesome, but the heart and soul of any good fan convention is you, the fan. The BCCC cosplay contest is one people come from around the country to witness.

This wasn't even the full crowd that showed up. Believe it or not, the Fellowship Hall was even more packed by the time the contest actually started.

Yes, that is certainly a lot of people, and a lot of costumes not in the contest too! But cosplay contests weren't the only thing going on. Panels, as previously mentioned, also took place.

The panels themselves featured some famous actors and voice actors. For example, Richard Karn and Debbe Dunning, pictured here, who you remember from the beloved family sitcom Home Improvement:

Even legendary comedy writer and actor Tom Arnold! (His panel featured awesome stories about training with Arnold Schwarzenegger, being a dad, and yes, his tumultuous times with Roseanne.)

For those who enjoy both cars and comics, you were also in for a treat. As pictured here, vehicles from both Jurassic Park and Toy Story were parked to view.

Wonder how much that cost to put together. Other guests included Tom O'Connell, Judith Hogg, Sean Kanan, Ian Sinclair, Ray Park, and Mauro Castillo.

Amidst all the excitement, there were many costumes that we must highlight as some of the best at the con. If you were unable to attend, don't worry - we've got you covered. So let's get to seeing some of the best cosplay in Bell County, shall we?

10 Reasons Han Solo is Basically a Texan in Space

If you ask most people who their favorite Star Wars character is, the odds of them naming anyone other than Han Solo are approximately three thousand seven hundred and twenty to one.

The loveable space pirate is pure swagger, and when you stop to think about it, he's probably the closest thing to a Texan out there in that galaxy far, far away.

Let's take a look at 10 reasons Han Solo would fit right in here in the Lone Star State.
