Body Recovered from Stillhouse Hollow Lake
An unidentified body recovered from a local lake will be sent to Dallas for autopsy.
The body was spotted shortly before 2:30 PM by boaters on Stillhouse Hollow Lake. The remains were reportedly tangled in tree limbs about 2 miles upstream of Cedar Gap Park near Harker Heights.
The remains of a black male were pulled ashore at the Cedar Gap Park boat ramp around 4:55 PM. Sheriff Eddie Lange said there were no visible signs of trauma, and there was no identifying information on the deceased.
The body will be sent to the the Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas for autopsy.
