Centex Woman Found Dead in Home

KWTX reports that Central Texas authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead in her home Sunday morning.

Sargent of the Waco Police Department, Patrick Swanton, said, "Officers were called to a home in the 5600 block of Wilshire around 3:30 a.m."

The Waco authorities found the woman inside her home shot to death. The authorities said the woman was in her mid 20's.

A witness on the scene said someone came to the residence and shot the woman dead. Her body was sent in for an autopsy, and her identity hasn't been released to the public. There is no additional information available at this current time.
