KWTX's Drake Lawson reported that Waco had an annual fishing event that always draws a crowd to the Central Texas area.

Waco held its 32nd Annual Really Big Fishing Event for Really Special People on Saturday February 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..

The Heart of Texas fair grounds hosted the event at the Creative Arts and Exhibits Building, which is located at 4601 Bosque Blvd. The event always has quite a draw, and the event is held for people with special needs to come out and fish with volunteers at the event.

Carol Harris, a volunteer, said, ""Everybody seems to enjoy it, and I get a lot of pleasure from all the ones that really enjoy it that comeback and say we really appreciate what y'all do."

The event was filled with dancing, games, prizes, and fishing with volunteers that included students who attend Baylor University.
