The Copperas Cove Police Department is teaming up with the DEA for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day happening October 22nd from 10 am to 2pm. According to a press release from Sgt. Joaquin Salazar, the take-back program is headed by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the city of Copperas Cove and its mission is to collect and destroy potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

You can stop by the Copperas Cove Police Department at 302 East Avenue E, weekdays Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm before Oct. 22nd where a collection container will be located to drop off unwanted, expired or unused prescriptions.
