Fire investigators are investigating a blaze that damaged a home on Duval Court in Temple Sunday morning.

Temple Fire and Rescue Chief Mitch Randles reports that nine units and 25 personnel were dispatched to a home at 900 Duval Court at 10:03 AM. When firefighters arrived, they saw people removing items from the structure. Randles said those people left the scene before the flames were extinguished.

Meanwhile, fire personnel made their way into the home and located the fire in a front room and hallway. The flames were quickly extinguished, and the fire was under control by 10:23 AM. The scene was cleared by 12:36 PM.

No injuries were reported. Fire damage was confined to the single room and hallway, and light smoke damage was reported throughout the home.
