Fort Hood Shooter Nidal Hasan’s Statement To Fox News Was FBI Transcript of Al-Jazeera Interview

A statement sent to Fox News by accused Fort Hood gunman Nidal Hasan was actually an FBI transcript of an unpublished Al-Jazeera English interview.

The two-year-old interview was conducted by Al-Jazeera reporter Liala al-Arian and will be presented as evidence by the prosecution at Hasan’s trial. In it, Hasan expresses regret for his military service and claims the United States is waging war with Islam and using its global influence to sway Muslims to a pro-American mindset.
