Happy Mother's Day to Our 2021 Showcase Winner (And Her Mama)

Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 9, and we wanted to team up some great local sponsors again to help make it an extra special day for a deserving Central Texas mama.

We asked our audience to nominate a mom they know and love, and so many of you shared touching stories about your moms, wives, sisters, daughters, and women you admire.

It's always tough choosing a winner because all the moms deserve pampering and praise during this special weekend, but we eventually narrowed it down to this year's winner...

"I believe every mother who is committed to her children is the best," Amber said in her nomination. "My mother has always given herself, all of herself, to my brother and I. I have learned how to be the mother I am through her selfless love. She has raised my brother, myself, and my cousin who has disabilities. She has taken in 3 of her nieces and nephews through the years to help her sibling. My mother has never lived a day for herself. I would love to honor this amazing God-sent women who I am honored and so thankful to call my Mother. Thank you for your time God bless all the wonderful mothers."

As she mentioned above, Amber is a mother as well and credits her mom with instilling in her the values and determination that helped her raise some well-rounded people. That's what it's all about!

Amber excitement for gifting our prize package to her mom was infectious, and it really brightened up our day when she visited our studios Friday. It was so great to meet you, Amber, and we hope you and Denise have a wonderful Mother's Day.
