Waco's own reality TV stars are diving into something new.

This reality couple from Waco is the real reason my mother wants to come and visit me here in Central Texas. She loves the show "Fixer Upper". Can't get enough of it. While my father watches "Hogans Hero's" marathons, mom is on the other T.V. watching Joanna & Chip.

I took them to Waco the last time they were here so they could see the shop. Right after they left, Joanna & Chip announced that they were moving to a new location. It was a bigger location because their Magnolia Homes brand is known world wide.

An now it's going to get even bigger as they announced they'll be publishing their very own magazine.

They just announced that they've teamed up with the Meredith Corporation, which already publishes "Martha Stewart Living" and "Better Homes and Gardens". Joanna and Chip's magazine will cover entertaining, gardening and outdoor living, family, food, holiday, and healthy living. The first issue will come out in October of 2016 for the price of $7.99.

Joanna was quoted the press release as saying;

The magazine will help inspire readers to create their best homes, families, and lives, while making every moment count. It will encourage readers to make the most of what they have and discover the inherent beauty all around them.

According to Popsugar, they'll have great recipes and peeks inside inspiring homes. Plus first-person reflections from Joanna and Chip. In addition to a list of the things Joanna is loving right now.

That's not all. They'll also be releasing their first book in October, The Magnolia Story.
