Our news partners at KWTX are reporting that Killeen High School is considering a new scoreboard at Leo Buckley Stadium!

The scoreboard's price tag of $1 Million Dollars will be discussed at the next board meeting. Funds could come from from the districts general fund to pay for the project.

The scoreboard in place now is in need of several repairs. These repairs could end up costing more than the price of a new scoreboard all together. The scoreboard in place now will soon need replacement parts that are no longer being produced.

The field is used by all KISD schools along with Harker Heights High School. While the district believes the new scoreboard would have a positive impact on all students and activities, some parents would rather see the money spent on the student's experience in the class room. If the plan is approved, the scoreboard would be added in time for the 2017-2018 school year.

Do you think Killeen High School should upgrade to a $1 Million Dollar Scoreboard?
