A Killeen man is behind bars after carjacking a woman and forcing her to withdraw funds from an ATM.

KWTX reports that 39-year-old Kunta Kinta Jackson approached the victim's car as she was waiting in line at a Wendy's drive-through in the 1200 block of South Fort Hood Street late Monday morning. The victim's three-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle.

Jackson allegedly told the woman he had a gun and demanded that she drive him to the Mickey's convenience store at 2000 Trimmier Road. Once there, he forced her to use an ATM to withdraw an unspecified amount of cash.

Jackson then accompanied the woman and child into the store before demanding they get back into the vehicle and drive him somewhere else. After a short drive, he got out of the vehicle and fled.

Police reviewed surveillance footage and were able to identify Jackson based upon the victim's description and the distinctive clothing Jackson was wearing.

Jackson is currently being held in the Bell County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
