Killeen Student Arrested for Attacking Campus Officers
KWTX's Brandon Hamilton reported that a 17-year-old Killeen high school student was arrested on Thursday after a minor charge escalated into something much worse.
The Killeen student was originally being apprehended for suspicion of possession of marijuana, and two campus officers attempted to detain the 17-year-old girl for the charge.
The 17-year-old girl brought into custody was Aaliyah Shante Neal, and she assaulted the two campus officers who were attempting to arrest her.
Neal was arrested and charged with harassment of a public servant for her assault on the campus officers.
According to online jail records, Neal's bond is set at $20,000 for the assault on the campus officers.
