Meet the Latest Batch of Rejected Texas License Plates
Every year, the State of Texas receives thousands of requests for vanity license plates, and every year a sizable chunk of those requests get a big red NO stamped on 'em.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that 2,243 vanity plate requests were rejected last year, either because they already existed, were too lewd by state standards, or were likely to cause confusion. They ranged from political messages like "NOTRUMP" and "DPORTME" to rowdy stuff like "BTCH PLS" and "PORNSTR".
