Fun for All Ages at 7th Annual Pet Adoption Extravaganza in Belton, Texas

Pets of all shapes and sizes will be available at the 7th annual Pet Adoption Extravaganza in Belton, Texas. Rescue Magazine and the Bell County Expo Center have teamed up to bring this fun family event for all animal lovers to Central Texas this October.
Rescue Magazine
Rescue Magazine provides support to animal shelters and rescues in Central Texas with food drives and events, including the yearly Pet Adoption Extravaganza in Belton.
Rescue Magazine also has a weekly show on KTEM for animals and their owners. Every Sunday from 11 am to noon, the Animal Hour has in-depth interviews with local shelters, rescue organizations, veterinarians, trainers, and legal professionals, plus other experts giving advice on animal-related issues.
Pet Adoption Extravaganza
Around 40 Central Texas animal-related agencies, along with more than 100 different vendors, and over 400 different animals ranging from ferrets to horses will be at this event, according to KCEN. There will also be dog trick performances, a mini carnival, pony rides, a petting zoo, reptiles, a demonstration by the Fort Hood working dog team, and an appearance by Bumblebee the Robot.
Rescue Magazine says over 15,000 visitors are expected to attend this year's event. The Pet Adoption Extravaganza will be held Saturday, October 15 through Sunday, October 16 from 10 am to 5 pm both days.
