Temple PD and Belton ISD have ID'd the person behind a social media threat which led to an increased police presence at North Belton Middle School Tuesday.
The $125.6 million design was approved during a school board meeting Monday. The schematic's been called a "flexible and adaptable learning environment.”
At a meeting Monday night, the Belton ISD Board of Trustees called a bond election for May 6 that would ask voters to decide on funds for four projects, including two new schools.

The Temple Police Department is consulting with the Belton Independent School District on how to handle out-of-control students after a Temple officer tried to retrain an 8-year-old child with handcuffs Tuesday afternoon.
UPDATE 2/25: The BISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to deny the filing parent's request for relief, and have upheld the school board's previous rulings.
