Ribs N Rods was this past weekend and we couldn't have been more excited. So much so that the event was packed to the brim with so many rides on display. For one of us, it was their first time at the event.

That's right, even though the event has been going on for 12 years strong, there was one individual that hadn't been. That person's name? None other than me, Tommy Paradise. And boy was I in for a treat.

I recently moved to the area in April, and I had never heard of the event before. I saw some awards around the station that bore the name, but if you were to ask me what the event was about, I would've simply guessed it being one big BBQ event.

Ribs N Rods On Saturday

Due to weather issues on Friday (Dangit Mother Nature!), the event was condensed to one day. As I drove to the event area, Bend O' The River park, I immediately noticed all the cars that sat waiting for me to stare at.

Some of the cars I wish I could've drove! They were all so clean too. It was amazing to me how people made these cars look so appealing. Also the smells around the event were just TERRIFIC.

I even got to try a food truck that my coworkers told me to try when I first arrived here. But of course, we're not here to talk about my experience at the event, how about we take a look at the vehicles which I thought were the best of the best.

So, without further adieu and presented without comment, here are some of the best rides I saw at Ribs N Rods:
