Texas Teachers Get Free Admission to San Antonio Zoo Throughout February
February is Educator Appreciation Month, and the San Antonio Zoo is thanking Texas teachers by offering them free admission and a huge discount for friends and family.
Active teachers from any school district in Texas employed by an accredited K-12 , private, or parochial school is eligible. Zoo employees just need to see your driver's license, plus one of three items for confirmation: a copy of your teaching certificate, a pay stub from your employer, or a photo ID badge from your school.
Once that's taken care of, you get in free, and up to four of your guests get 50% of the regular cost of admission.
Check out the San Antonio Zoo's website for details and fine print, then head down there ASAP. It's a spectacular zoo, and after dealing with wild kids all day, you may find the wild animals a relief!
