Triple Shooting in Houston Leaves One Dead

The Associated Press reported that a shooting in Houston has taken the life of one person, and two others were wounded. The Houston authorities said, the shooter shot the people through a hotel door and then escaped the crime scene.

The triple shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m., and the authorities are still in hunt for the suspect. The authorities are currently investigating the reasoning for the shooting; that took place on the second floor of a two story hotel.

Houston Police officials said, "All three victims were in a room when the attacker shot through the door, which is accessible from the exterior of the structure." The severely wounded man on the scene, died there at the hotel. While the other two were taken to the hospital for the sustained injuries.

The names and identities of the victims have yet to be released to the public.
