Business Insider recently published an article about the most purchased item at each of its stores across all 50 states. The most purchased item in Texas may surprise you!
While some states most purchased item was fairly common, other states ended up with an item that was more unique.
In states who have legalized marijuana, starburst fruit chews and apple juice are the most popular items. In West Virginia, the most purchased item is ramen noodles, while North Carolina seems to have chosen Walmart as their go-to-stop for electric knives.
Business Insider says they analyzed data from Walmart.com to find the most purchased item in all 50 states.
