Thursday's news reminded us of a similar robbery reported at the 1st National Bank at 2201 Trimmier Road on Tuesday, January 17. The female suspect in that case also approached a teller and demanded money, but did not display a weapon.
Detectives described the suspect in that case as a heavyset white or Hispanic woman of short stature, wearing a white Starter cap, a black hoodie with a white stripe across the chest, and blue jeans.
