Work Crews Begin Work on Busy Waco Road

KWTX reported that work crews will begin work on a busy street in Waco on Monday morning.

The City of Waco street crews will be working on Lakeshore Drive. Waco officials said that drivers should be ready to endure with lane closures due to the road work.

The lane closures will take place between Wooded Acres Drive, Hillcrest Drive, Village Green Drive, and MacArthur Drive. Work by the crews, may have traffic condensed down to one lane.

There have been no details released about what road work will be taking place, but only that the crews will be working on the surface of the road.

Lakeshore Drive will open back up towards the end of each day, but the duration of the work is expected to take two weeks.
